In 2012, Coach Babette attended Accomplishment Coaching Training in New York City. That same year she was selected to be a part of the Strategic Intervention Coaching program through the Robbins-Madanes Training Center. She was an active member of the Andy Andrews Coaching program for two years. In March 2017, she was invited to meet Andy and brainstormed with 59 other coaching group members in Nashville, TN. While in Nashville she also had the opportunity to meet Dave Ramsey and share her story of paying off $96,000.00 in 30 months, so that she could come home and raise her daughter full-time. Dave shared her story on the air. Since October 2012, Coach Babette has educated individuals, couples, groups, and corporations to overcome financial struggles with her Dump Debt 'n Live Free program. It is Coach Babette's desire to educate people nationwide, from the classroom to the conference room, on how to manage their money instead of their money managing them. It is not about how much you make, it is how you relate to what you make. Coach Babette's most recent recognitions were in August 2017 and June 2019 when she was named in the Top 20 Best Life Coaches in Charlotte, NC by Expertise.
Babette holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and prior to becoming a coach, Babette held a corporate position for over a decade as the President of Realty Exchange, Inc. The firm was engaged as a Qualified Intermediary for 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges. Babette was the first person in North Carolina to achieve certification by the Federation of Exchange Accommodators as a Certified Exchange Specialist. Babette conducted seminars educating real estate attorneys, accountants, financial advisors/planners, and real estate investors on the complexity of 1031 Exchange transactions. Most of all, Babette is blessed to have what she holds as the most important role of all being "Mom" to her daughter.
